Secret Suyama Overview
9:00 Meet your guide at either Gotemba or Odawara Station. Gotemba is best for people staying near Shinjuku and uses a highway bus. Odawara is best for those in Tokyo and uses the shinkansen. Meeting in the station we will discuss the day and make any preparations we need before heading out. This will include snacks and drinks.
10:00 Visit the sleepy Suyama Shrine one of the original start points for the monk and samurai who climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan's medieval period. This shrine brings you into rural Japan and gives you a glimpse into sleepy rural life in the countryside.

11:00 Start our hike on Echizendake. The path in a steady climb with no challenging sections. On the way up in good weather we will catch famous views which we printed onto the old Japanese 50yen notes. From our close position the mountain stands above us.

1:00 Reach the mountains summit at 1504m and enjoy the 360 view! Here we will enjoy our lunch while we have a change to enjoy our success and the landscape.

1:30 For those how are particularly fast and motivated at this point we can branch off on a different trail. More challenging but adding different views on our way down this is recommended for those with good fitness. From this finish we may take a bus back to the car or arrange for pick up. If you are interested please let us know in advance.

4:00 Back at the car we will start our return to the drop of spot.

4:30/5:00 Wrapping up our day at either a local station or your hotel we will be in a perfect place for you to continue your trip around Japan.
